1964 - Billy J Kramer - Little Children
I’ve lost count - not that there’s anything wrong with that - BaDaBoom
Billy J Kramer (1943) had several hits in the mid 60s. Many were compositions by Lennon-McCartney, never recorded by The Beatles.
BJ Kramer was also managed by Brian Epstein.
I remember this song played on the radio. Looking back, it’s not really rock n roll, the drummers is actually playing with brushes, that’s jazz man?
I also remember the song being more upbeat, this is not that. I guess 60 years makes a difference in your taste. It’s not a song where kids scream and roll around in their seats. Kind of boring, actually.
