In 1964, The Dave Clark Five had 4 songs in the Billboard Top 100. Do You Love Me was number 91. Bits and Pieces was #45, Glad All over was #23, Because was #64.
Bobby Graham played drums on all of those records. Not Dave.
When I first heard those songs on the radio, a 45 record, or black and white television, I immediately loved the snare drum sound. Bobby Graham also played on hits with The Kinks, Them, Tom Jones and many more.
I liked them better than the Beatles..... Glad All Over had a great feel to it also. That drummer could stomp it out! Ferry Cross the Mersey was a huge hit ....Gerry and the Pacemakers ...
