This is my interpretation of the Professor Longhair tune Big Chief. There are several versions of this on YouTube. I like the slower arrangement with tuba. I’ve played this better, it’s not as deep a groove as I’ve done, but you get the idea. The thing I play does demonstrate the off-beat e-an-a sixteenth note syncopation, I think, you be the judge.
