Playing basic brushes with Red Garland is so easy, because of his great feel and time. This piano style has rhythmic and melodic phrasing that flows without tension.

Red Garland was part of several Miles Davis and John Coltrane records including from 1955 to 1965. 

Red Garland helped popularize the jazz piano block chord style.
