Earl Palmer was from New Orleans. He played drums on most of the Fats Domino, Little Richard, Professor Longhair records. He played on the Sam Cooke , You Send Me hit.
He moved to LA in 1957 and began a long career as part of The Wrecking Crew recording musicians. Earl Palmer and Hal Blaine were the beat behind 100’s of hits.
