I really enjoyed this trip and visit to this venue. The exhibit had so much memorabilia it was a complete day to take in. The building is great, those are a few of my images with various natural lights. I believe the exhibit was curated by Yoko Ono. Included for display were The Beatles instruments, clothes and more. This was 2006. There was a small listening room with sofas and chairs, large enough for 12 listeners, there was a very unique playback performance of Pepper etc, surround sound remixes. Very Avant Garde. The room included original “audio desk” aka soundboards from Abbey Road , also personal equipment of Johns, including his mellotron. So much I’ve forgotten. In another upstairs part of the exhibit , there was on display John’s original drawing notebooks , letters, photos and more. It was overwhelming. Yoko Ono also had her Avant Garde pieces on display. They were very interesting. Being in Paris , this was unexpected, I didn’t know this was the curated exhibit till I got there. It was a metro ride outside of the city. Part of the music museums permanent display was a historical display of music instruments. Another overwhelming experience. Enjoy….
