It’s amazing how this Suno platform is getting better and better. They just added an instrumental plugin. Watching this video was worth my time. I continue to have many reflective comments about this music making platform.
I will eventually download and use it, I’ll pay the monthly fee, whatever that is.
Listening to this guys simple track creation, it sounds professional. It would cost thousands of dollars in production time to make a track like his pizza tune. The vocals in different genre are very good.
What does this say about the state of popular music for the last decade or so?
It sounds basically the same. Yes, a,I, has been farming all of humanities data, images, music, text, everything.
It goes to show how creative music doesn’t exist. Not in the general public music arena.
This added platform the video influencer uses, called Replay, is another intellectual property issue. How you can download a ‘famous’ singers voice and sync it up to your a, I, track? Yes , question mark.
I’m not a fan of Taylor Swift, but she is an excellent business entrepreneur. I didn’t see her name listed with Phil Collins, Eminem or the others. She will have a meltdown if and when that happens.
I’m flashing back to the time Frank Zappa appeared in Senate hearings to discuss the language, lyric content of music. Tipper Gore was there, moderating, it was big media event. Taylor Swift at a congressional hearing would be big numbers for viewers.
But back to that hearing with Frank. It was very effective. You never hear the F bomb or any language a five year old should not hear. Do you? Music lyrics are quite clean family oriented. (I’m not serious)
Now, back to the Sumo platform. It can pump out cloned music in a few seconds. Tracks that sound like regular popular music, to me.
I don’t know who popular artist are, with exception to a few, Drake, Eminem. With slight variations, most genre singers sound the same.
These tracks also have all of the production values built in. They sound all compressed and limited for listeners on their phones and tablets. Everything is e,q’d to sound good. Auto tune and the popular robot vocoder voices are there.
The templates let you easily switch voices for your tune, it’s so easy and cheap.
There’s a famous rap artist that just killed his construction to build a million dollar production studio. He’s smart.
I’m not completely doom and gloom on this a, i, platform. I believe creative users will benefit from the tools.
I myself. I’m studying every animation program available to relaunch my children’s education platform. This includes updating my character Boom Boom the Bass Drum.
Animating my books, creating animated videos etc. it’s unfortunate that books are dead for any audience in my network. A, I, and those visual entertainment videos may rejuvenate interest for hand held books and stories. I want millions of viewers on YouTube of my efforts in the educational arena.
I want to be able to produce content in-house with a reduced amount of cash.
There are benefits to the tools under the a, I, umbrella.
